A fabulous day at the lovely White Swan Hotel in Alnwick for Natasha, Lee and their friends and family.  It wasn't the type of day for going outside, although we did manage 5 minutes to let some white pigeons fly away!

The main room used at the White Swan is gorgeous and I learned that is was furnished with the fittings from the sister ship of the Titanic in 1937.  It explains the grand but cosy feel to it.  The room was beautifully prepared by Mellanie Gair Luxury Wedding Design and what an amazing job they did. The blossoms seemed to completely fill the room with a full size blossom tree being especially impressive!

As well as some of the more conventional wedding activities, wedding preparations included toasting a white pigeon which is a wedding first for me.....!  The bride looked beautiful and gave nothing to hint of a stunning performance of Proud Mary later in the night...!

The day was full of emotion and all the better for at - an especially good bonus for a wedding photographer. For great wedding photography, laughter and tears of emotion are what it's all about....

It was an absolute pleasure to be serenaded by Jess Avison during the wedding breakfast - what a beautiful singer - if you need someone for a wedding or event she's your girl...!  It's also the first time I've seen a 'Put a ring on it' donut stand at a wedding....!

All in all a very beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable day for some wedding photography!  Thank you everybody..!
