Alnwick Treehouse wedding photographer in Northumberland

I always love a wedding at Alnwick Treehouse! It’s a real ‘one-off’ wedding venue in Northumberland where you can be guaranteed of something a bit different to the norm for you and your guests, As well some great wedding photographs of course.

For Kirstie & Alex’s wedding, preparations for Kirstie started elsewhere at a beautiful nearby guesthouse. This had some classy rooms which perfectly set off the photographs of Kirstie’s amazing wedding dress and other details and a gorgeous garden for the ‘ready’ photos before she set off on her short journey to the Treehouse…

… where Alex was waiting!

Kirstie made her beautiful entrance shortly after for an atmospheric outdoor wedding ceremony - not bad for February!

There are a range of fab locations for wedding photos at Alnwick Treehouse whatever the season.

If you are brave and don’t mind a bit of swaying, the rope bridge creates an unusual backdrop, even if holding the camera steady can be a challenge!

As well as the Treehouse itself being very photogenic for weddings the surrounding Northumberland countryside it looks out across also makes for a stunning backdrop.

And for winter weddings at Alnwick don’t panic about the short days and dark nights - the outdoor lights are wonderful and with a bit of careful photography capture a very magical atmosphere.
